Giving To Opus Affair

We like to think of Opus Affair as a community that supports itself. Our members include many enterprising artists and behind-the-scenes professionals involved in some of the most prestigious arts and cultural organizations in the world...and also in an incredible number of innovative arts startups. It’s a broad spectrum, but we strive to create programs to support as many members of our community as possible.

Through our Punch Bowl Fund, arts organizations big and small have a chance to introduce themselves to our community—and to each other—while engaging in a friendly competition to crowdsource a few dollars. And those dollars add up: we gave out nearly $7,000 in PBFund donations in 2012.

Our Salon Series began in an artist loft in Fort Point as a way to recognize some of the talented performers in our midst, by inviting them to put on small private concerts (with cocktails and snacks, naturally) where we provide an enthusiastic audience and collect a little money to thank them for their time. Now we’ve grown out of the apartment, but the essence is the same.

Opus Affair might be a small organization, but the community of young art lovers in Boston surely isn’t small...and neither is our impact. Whether your support for Opus Affair or any affiliated organizations and projects comes in the form of money, time, or talent, we thank you for being part of our community. Let’s show Boston what we can do.
